Ikebana Tutorial Videos for Beginners

For those of you who are new to Ikebana, I have made a tutorial video that walks you through how to create a basic Ikebana flower arrangement. By following this video, step by step, you should be able to create a beautiful Ikebana arrangement yourself.

The video below demonstrates how to create the Basic Upright Style Moribana, the first lesson in Sogetsu Textbook 1. If you would like to register for my Beginner’s Class, it is prerequisite to watch this video before taking the class.

In Sogetsu Textbook 1・2, you will learn variations of two different Ikebana styles; Moribana and Nageire. For Moribana arrangements, you use a shallow container. For Nageire arrangements, you use a tall vase.

The video below demonstrates how to create a Basic Upright Style Nageire, which is Lesson 4 of Sogetsu Textbook 1.
